It's been unseasonably warm here in Nashville or at least unseasonably warm for this midwesterner. I've worn a legit winter coat maybe twice and this past weekend was in the 70s. Living in Chicago for most of my life meant my winter time outfits barely got noticed underneath all of my layers. If I was simply running a quick Target errand there almost wasn't any need to get dressed. Anything could work: "Just throw a coat on it!"
Despite the temperate weather I'm gravitating towards warmer colors and neutral patterns. After streamlining my closet, I don't have a lot of color and pattern, except for plaid. So much plaid!
I've only recently discovered how much I love it. I'm not sure how many plaid shirts are acceptable in someone's closet but I don't really want to find out. ;-)
