Five Beauty Products I'm Loving Now

Five Favorite Beauty Products Confession: I watch a lot of monthly favorite videos on YouTube.

Since I no longer subscribe to beauty magazines, those videos have become my main source for product recommendations and new techniques. Through YouTube, I've discovered quite a few items that have changed my beauty game. Here are five products I have been loving lately.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Rose Water | I enjoy using toners and facial sprays. In the summer, I stash sprays like this one with me in my pool bag for a refreshing pick-me-up. Typically, I spray once I've set my foundation or after applying lotion to add additional moisture. A light spritz takes away that cakey foundation look without messing anything up (just wait to apply your mascara until afterwards!).

Kenra Root Lifting Spray | I have a lot of hair with natural wave and body but now that my hair is getting longer, it's also become quite heavy. A root lifting spray was never on my radar, but naturally creating lift was becoming very difficult so I took a trip to Ulta and came away with a product I really like. Even after one application I saw a huge difference.

Blax Clear Hair Ties | These are the best hair ties I have ever used. Clear elastic ties are my go-to, but with the common brands I found at Target or Walgreens I would have to wear three or four at a time to hold everything and most would break after one use. These do not break or pull on my hair and the only issue is my penchant for losing them!

Wella Shampoo & Conditioner | It's been a long time since I've found a brand that actually conditions my hair. My all-time favorite is still probably Davines, but Wella is easier for me to acquire and I'm extremely pleased.

Tee Tree Oil + Sweet Almond Oil | Despite dietary changes, my skin is still on a bit of a roller coaster each month. I wasn't in the mood to purchase a new spot treatment and remembered I had a bottle of tea tree oil stashed somewhere. I decided to add a few drops to sweet almond oil and slather it on overnight. I'm not sure why this combination is working for me now but I was amazed at how quickly it killed bacteria, allowing my face to heal and clear up quicker
